Prosecutors in Brown County say negotiations are continuing and it’s possible a plea deal will be worked out before the February 26 trial date set for an arson suspect. Eighteen-year-old Mackenzie Guillen is accused of breaking into a church last April and setting a fire. Guillen faces five charges including arson and the burglary of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Allouez. Investigator say he broke a window to get inside, then lit some papers on the floor on fire. No injuries were reported and staff members have submitted a letter to the court asking that Guillen get treatment and not jail time.
