Plans by Regal Beloit America to close its plant in Clinton will eliminate 59 jobs.
The workers will be phased out in three steps starting in late January.
The Beloit-based company has notified the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development of its plans.
A release from the company says the decision wasn’t made lightly and it appreciates the real effect on those workers and Clinton.
