The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department says two people have been arrested after a vehicle chase that turned into a manhunt in a rural part of that county.
The chase started in Tomah when a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper smelled marijuana coming from a car he had just stopped.
The driver took off, reaching speeds of more than 100 miles-an-hour. Janssen McGee and Paris Akon jumped out in a Sparta neighborhood and took off running.
A police dog and a drone from the Fort McCoy Fire Department were used to help track the two down.
