A 17-year-old student at Waukesha South High School was shot Monday when he pointed a handgun at police.
The school had been put on lockdown when that student arrived with the gun in his possession. The student’s name hasn’t been released, but his wounds were described as “relatively minor.”
Three hours later nearby Waukesha North High School was put on lockdown after a report of a student possessing a gun on that campus.
The 15-year-old suspect was found at his home and taken into custody. He had a fake gun.
