A number of local and area High School Basketball teams saw action on Saturday. In a day/night doubleheader at Manitowoc’s JFK Fieldhouse the Lincoln Ships were defeated in both ends of the twinbill by visiting Fond du Lac: 78-62 in the varsity girls game and 64-61 in the boys contest.
Elsewhere in Boys Basketball:
Two Rivers improved to 2-0 with a 73-38 rout of Algoma.
Denmark topped Valders 73-48 in the debut of Denmark head coach Scott Farr.
Howards Grove defeated New Holstein 64-48.
Wrightstown was a winner over Brillion 86-68.
Plymouth downed Sheboygan Falls 76-54.
And, Neenah cruised past Green Bay Preble 80-42.
