The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reports a missing elderly couple was found in their car Saturday at about 10:15 A-M.
Deputies say 87 year-old Donald Soper was dead and his wife was in critical condition. 87 year old Colleen Soper died later at a hospital.
The vehicle was found along a county route in a rural area near Mount Horeb.
The Sopers were last seen leaving a family gathering Thanksgiving Day in Black Earth, and were reportedly headed home to the village of Cross Plains.
