The winter storm that ravaged the area yesterday has caused not only slick roads and power outages, but the East River in Green Bay has also risen to dangerous levels.
The jump in depth and the strong winds in the area are combining to cause a a flood risk.
The Green Bay Police Department has issued a warning to those living near the river to monitor the water level, and to be prepared to evacuate the area.
Have an emergency bag packed, which should include a change of clothes, blankets, food, water and a first aid kit.
Some roads have already been shut down.
