A Green Bay man is facing charges after he was allegedly involved in a fatal hit and run accident over the weekend.
Reports indicate that the body of an adult man was found in the ditch on Ashland Avenue, north of Cormier Road, after Ashwaubenon Public Safety Officers were called to the area on a report of a deer vs car accident.
The driver of the car involved was quickly found, with help from the Green Bay Police Department. The unnamed 38 year old suspect is being held in the Brown County Jail on a charge of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety is asking anyone who was driving on Ashland Ave. between the hours of 11:30 Friday night and midnight and may have witnessed something, to contact them at (920) 492- 2995.
