One of the best parts about the Christmas season is driving around and seeing all the home decorated with multi-colored lights.
Some places also have drive though light shows, such as Lincoln Park in Manitowoc, and at Hobart Park/the Calumet County Fairgrounds. That show started up last night, and will continue to run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout December.
12 civic organizations in Calumet County came together to put the show together, which includes lights synced up with holiday music.
Admission to the light show is simply a canned food donation for Calumet County food pantries, with optional monetary donations going to future growth of Delightfully Calumet, and participating organizations.
Attendees will receive a 2020 calendar that includes information about the displays, advertisements and coupons from local businesses.
