The U-S Attorney of the Eastern District of Wisconsin is accusing a De Pere business of wire fraud and banking law violations.
A civil injunction is being sought against Summit Contracting and its owners, Chad Schampers and Nathaniel Smith.
Dozens of Summit’s customers filed complaints against the business alleging fraud and asking to have their money refunded.
The federal prosecutor says the purpose of the injunction would be to “prevent a continuing and substantial injury to the victims.”
