The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation has some good news and some bad news.
First with the bad news, two Sheboygan based companies are reducing their employee count.
Nemschoff Chairs and Sargento Foods are letting a few of their employees go, not long after 84 positions were eliminated from Kohler Company’s small engines division, which was sent to Mississippi.
The good news?
There are around 2,000 positions available in other businesses those workers can fill.
The SCEDC has gone on record saying that they are doing the best they can to match the skilled employees that recently found themselves without a job, with the right company to continue the growth of the City and County.
