Under the leadership of head coach P-J Fleck, the Minnesota Gophers have improved their run defense impressively this season.
They’re going to have to keep it up to stop All-American Jonathan Taylor and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Minnesota has cut its rushing yards allowed by 50-a-game compared to last year. Meanwhile, Taylor leads the Big Ten with 59 plays of more than 10 yards. The Gopher offense is led by a potent passing attack.
Following last year’s surprising win in Madison, it’s a confident Minnesota team making plans to keep Paul Bunyan’s Axe.
Oddsmakers have the Badgers as a two-and-a-half-point favorite.
