Wisconsin Badger shooters who were cold in a Monday loss to Richmond, found a way to make it worse Tuesday. U-W missed 24-of-26 3-pointers in a 59-50 loss to the New Mexico Lobos.
Nate Reuvers led all scorers with 16 points for coach Greg Gard’s team. Two losses in a row drop the Badgers’ record to 4-3.
It was an error-filled game at the Barclays Center in the Legends Classic, with 14 Wisconsin turnovers.
The Badgers will try to break the two-game losing streak at North Carolina State next week.
