A Sheboygan man nearly doubled his time behind bars after he beat up four officers and an inmate.
30-year-old Markell Hogan was already serving 20 years for human trafficking when he attacked another inmate in the Sheboygan County Jail in September of 2015.
A week and a half later, he was warned to stop obscuring the camera in the holding area. When he refused, the officers pepper-sprayed Hogan, and he responded by knocking one of them to the ground and striking him in the face. He broke free from a second officer and struck a third before finally being restrained.
Then in November of 2016, he attacked another officer.
Hogan will now spend an additional 15 years in prison for the attacks.
