The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reports four people were wounded during the first weekend of this gun deer season.
Two of those victims, a 38-year-old man in Oneida County and a 29-year-old woman in Marathon County, accidentally shot themselves. One hunter wounded a 19-year-old woman in Fond du Lac County while he was shooting at a running deer. The woman was hit in the hand.
The D-N-R is asking the public for information about a shooting accident in Minong which happened Sunday at about 11:00 A-M.
