Catholic Memorial of Waukesha scored on a 65 yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage yesterday at Camp Randal Stadium, and never lo0oked back, dominating Kiel 35-0.
The Crusaders put on an offensive clinic, gaining 475 yards, while the Raiders only gained 91 yards. Crusader QB Luke Fox accounted for 359 of those yards, throwing for 255 in the air and 104 rushing.
Kiel did win the turnover battle, taking the ball away four times, but couldn’t capitalize.
The season for Kiel is far from a failure though, as they made it to Madison without losing a single game, and made it to state for the first time in the school’s history.
