6th District Wisconsin Congressman Glen Grothman weighed-in on the second week of the House Impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
The Republican from Glenbeulah tells SeehaferNews.com that he watched some of the hearing on Wednesday .
Grothman told us that he doesn’t believe the committee has a case against the President and said “I think what they ought to do is to openly debate President Trump on the issues that enrage them.” He sighted issues like immigration, the trade agreement with Canada and Mexico, and the ongoing trade war with China.
He added “these are the issues that are going to affect America this year, in 5 years and 20 years from now.”
Grothman also said, “I don’t think the President is guilty of any crime…and, 20 years from now people are not going to be affected by what happened in the Ukraine, but we ARE going to be affected by who is coming across the border with Mexico.”
