An unoccupied Bellevue home caught fire yesterday morning.
Bellevue Fire and Rescue crews responded to the home in the 1400 block of McRae Circle after receiving a report of the smoke detectors going off, and found heavy smoke emitting from the basement of the structure upon arrival.
The fire was quickly brought under control, but not before around $30,000 in damage was done.
No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported, but the cause of the blaze is not yet known. The Bellevue Fire and Rescue Department, and Brown County Fire Investigation Task Force are still investigating the fire.
