A female had to be rescued from her submerged vehicle in the Bay of Green Bay last evening.
Lieutenant Jason Katers of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that his agency was part of the response about 5:15pm for a vehicle in the water near Lineville Road and Bayshore Drive in the Village of Howard.
Three deputies were able to remove the driver from the vehicle after landing on its’ roof in approximately 4-feet of water.
The female, who has not been identified, received treatment for minor injuries by county rescue personnel.
Lieutenant Katers said alcohol appears to be a factor as Brown County officials continue to investigate.
The Howard Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
