
Sheboygan Police were involved in a short standoff Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, Officers were called to a residence in the 1400 block of Erie Avenue at around 1:00 PM on a report of an injured individual. However, when they arrived, the man was found to be armed with a knife, and refused to exit the home.
There were other people in the home as well, which the suspect refused to let leave.
Officers began speaking with the man, and eventually calmed him down, and placed him into custody. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, sustained prior to the standoff.
He is now facing charges including victim intimidation, substantial battery, resisting arrest, false imprisonment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
