There’s word today about the death of the former owner of Metal Ware in Two Rivers. Wes Drumm died on Tuesday at the age of 91.
George Reis knew Drumm and he told SeehaferNews.com “He was a pretty tough guy, but he also had a soft sense to him. When I was hospitalized, he was the first person to come see me.”
Reis says Drumm was known for bringing the Nesco roaster product to Two Rivers. He estimates that Drumm ended up selling “over a million Nesco’s on QVC over a 7 or 8 year period. He was instrumental in bringing the Name Nesco to almost everyone around the country.”
Drumm led Metal Ware for more than half a century, and according to Reis was a “self-made manufacturer & kept that company going for many, many years.”
