Marquette coach Steve Wojciechowski has complimented his counterpart with the Badgers, Greg Gard, for the way he is handling the team’s off-season tragedy.
While dissecting his Golden Eagles’ 77-61 loss to Wisconsin, Wojciechowski told reporters of his “incredible respect for Greg Gard.”
Assistant coach Howard Moore is on medical leave and two of his family members are dead after the car crash in May.
The Marquette coach says what Gard has done with his players to help them through the experience and get them ready to play is “incredible.”
