The Wisconsin Center for Education Research recently released their list of the top 10 schools in the state based on student ACT scores, and two Sheboygan County schools made the cut.
Kohler is at the top of the list, with an average score of 25.23, and Oostburg came in at #8 in the state with an average score of 23.58. T
he perfect score on the ACT is 36, and the national average with the class of 2017 was 21.
The Oostburg case is intriguing because they also have the lowest per pupil spending in the list of top 10 schools at $11,439, and second lowest median parent income at $88,688.
In contrast, Kohler spends $14,335 per pupil, and the median parent income is at $106,389.
