There are a pair of meetings this evening in the Council Chambers in Manitowoc’s City Hall.
At 6:00 PM the Committee of the Whole will hold a short meeting regarding a proposed acquisition of property in the 900 block of Chicago Street, including a closed session discussion.
Then, at 6:30 the Common Council will convene. A public hearing will be held, where citizens can voice their input on the 2020 city budget.
The Committee of the Whole will also be addressing the full council with a resolution declaring the property on Chicago Street blighted, and authorizing the Community Development Authority to acquire and redevelop said property.
