An Eau Claire man who admitted killing his roommate’s dog will spend five days in jail and be on probation for two years.
William Geiger was sentenced last week. He admitted stabbing the dog last year after it bit him.
Geiger entered a guilty plea in September.
The Eau Claire County judge also banned him from drinking while on probation and he won’t be allowed to own any animals.
