The City of Sheboygan is letting it’s citizens know that they are planning to resume leaf pick up now that the snow has cleared up.
Municipalities all over the Lakeshore area have been affected by the sudden drop in temperatures, and the snowfall, which made collecting the leaf piles on the side of the road impossible. Since we are expected to have a string of days with above freezing temperatures, the process can start again.
Leaves collected by residents can also be brought to the residential recycling center between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday.
The City of Manitowoc announced last week that they were going to start back up again today through Friday.
