
When the Democratic National Convention arrives in Milwaukee next summer, there will be four-thousand police officers making sure everyone is safe. For those four days, the Milwaukee police force will be doubled in strength.
A 50-million dollar grant from the U-S Department of Justice will pay for equipment, training and additional officers from 40 out-of-state departments.
Police Chief Alfonso Morales will be in charge of all of those officers while Democrats choose a presidential nominee.
