A fugitive is in custody after leading authorities on a chase from Minnesota into western Wisconsin.
The U-S Marshals Service says 52-year-old Jeffery Groves was wanted on Ramsey County warrants and for burglary and criminal sexual conduct in St. Louis Park.
Officers tried to arrest him Wednesday in Newport, but Groves fled the scene and led patrol cars on a pursuit into Hudson, Wisconsin where he crashed.
He’s currently hospitalized with injuries suffered in the crash.
