The daughter of a record-holder in swimming at Manitowoc Lincoln High School has signed a letter-of-intent to swim for the University of Minnesota next year. Maeve O’driscoll of Madison will compete today for Edgewood High School in her 4th WIAA State Swim Meet at UW-Natatorium.
Maeve’s mother, Kelly O’driscoll, set a school record in the breaststroke for Lincoln in 1985. Maeve is seeded 2nd in the 50-yard freestyle & 3rd in the 100-free, while Edgewood is favored to win its’ 5th straight Division-2 State championship.
The senior standout will major in Business.
