The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay trailed by only six at halftime but eventually dropped a 93-78 loss to New Mexico Wednesday night.
JayQuan McLoud led the Phoenix scoring 20 and P-J Pipes added 17. The Lobos were up 49-43 at intermission but started hitting 3-pointers in the second half. Green Bay forced 13 turnovers in the first half.
Green Bay (1-2) will face the Wisconsin Badgers in the second round of the Legends Classic November 21st.
