The Manitowoc Police Department has released the details of the early morning arrest made yesterday, where three people were caught stealing from unlocked vehicles.
Officers were called to the 600 block of North 9th Street just after 1:00 AM because a witness saw the people stealing from a car. The responding officer made contact with the suspects, aged 18 and 37 with the third suspects age and gender redacted, who denied any wrongdoing.
All three were taken to the Manitowoc County Jail, and were found to be in possession of a slew of stolen items, and a bunch of loose change.
This, combined with the eyewitness testimony, lead to the two identified males being charged with two counts of Theft from a Vehicle, and the 37 year old being charged with Carrying a Concealed Knife, and Receiving a Stolen Prop from a Child.
No word on if the other suspect has been charged.
