A 16-year-old girl is being held at the Juvenile Reception Center after attacking a school resource officer at Madison West High School.
The girl came to that campus to confront another student. As she was being escorted off the school grounds, she began swinging at the S-R-O, breaking his glasses, scratching his face and biting him, drawing blood. She also tried to bite another adult.
The girl faces tentative charges of battery to a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, trespass and several other offenses.
