The Manitowoc County Miracles took two teams to the State Volleyball Competition at the Milwaukee Sting Center in Menomonee Falls.
The Thunderspikes took 3rd place in division 2 coached by Thomas Heckmann, Cassie Smith, and Lucas Smith as an athlete coach. They lost to the West Madison Serve-iors, and the Walworth Hotheads before picking up a win against the Able Attack.
The Sting Rays took 4th place in division 7 coached by Shelly Bernhardt, Cheryl Kennedy, and Annette Wuellner. The Rays lost all three of their matchups against the Lakeland Storms, the Bi-County Chargers, and the Arrowhead Hawks.
Despite not bringing home any gold, the coaches were very proud of their teams and said that everyone played very hard.
