
The Manitowoc Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a hit and run case from this past weekend.
According to Officer Schmidt, the incident took place on Sunday at around 9:20 PM at the intersection of Dewey Street, and Calumet Avenue. The suspect is believed to have been driving a 2017 Dodge Journey, which was occupied by 4-5 black females.
The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling east on Dewey Street after it struck a traffic signal. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage, and left a unique license plate bracket, which can be seen below, along with a stock photo of a Dodge Journey.
