University of Wisconsin transfer student Micah Potter is going to get the chance to state his case to the N-C-A-A.
The date for the telephone hearing hasn’t been set. The Committee for Legislative Review has denied a waiver for Potter twice. He transferred from Ohio State and is arguing he shouldn’t have to sit out the first semester of this season because he didn’t play any games last year.
Transfers have to sit out a full year at their new school, but the N-C-A-A has already granted dozens of waivers.
