
More information has been released in a fatal officer-involved shooting in Two Rivers Monday Night.
30 year-old-Nash Fiske of Green Bay was a passenger in a car driven by 31-year-old William Tyler Langrick of Menasha when police pulled him over on a traffic stop on Washington Street. A criminal complaint states that two handguns were in the car and Fiske gave one of them to Langrick during the stop. The complaint states that police also found 558 grams of marijuana in glass jars plus additional pot inside Langrick’s vehicle.
The events that led to the shooting aren’t clear but the officer who shot Fiske has been identified as Dakota Gamez who’s been with the Two Rivers Police Department for nearly three years. Fiske was taken to Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers for treatment of his injuries where he later died. There’s no indication of how many shots were fired.
Meanwhile, Langrick is facing gun and drug charges. Gamez is on administrative leave while the shooting is being investigated by the State Department of Criminal Investigation.
