Manitowoc Police were called to the Shell Gas Station on Calumet Avenue yesterday morning after an employee found a woman lying on the bathroom floor with a needle in her arm.
Officers arrived on the scene and found the woman, without her pants on, lying on her side. The woman admitted to taking heroin as she got up and put her clothes back on.
The woman was treated in an ambulance by Manitowoc Fire Rescue personnel, and eventually at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Officers identified the 38-year-old woman by looking at her Michigan Drivers Permit, and dispatch confirmed that she was out on bond for an OWI charge related to the use of methamphetamine.
She is now facing charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Felony Bail Jumping.
