The 14-year-old girl that went missing in Calumet County earlier this year, has been found safe in Maryland.
Melissa Estrella Vasguez-Gonzalez went missing back in early July and was located on September 30th.
Melissa underwent a medical evaluation in Maryland before being transported back to her family. Melissa has reportedly spoken with investigators from the local, state, and federal levels about what occurred after she left the area this summer.
The investigation remains ongoing, so the details of the case are not being released at this time.
