One of the three individuals that have been charged in the death of 2-year-old Two Rivers boy, Gilbert A. Grant the Second, has pleaded guilty under a plea agreement.
28-year-old David Heiden and his attorney were in Manitowoc County Circuit Court yesterday when the agreement was reached.
As a part of the agreement, Heiden admitted fault in causing death to a child charge, but four other charges were dismissed. Those charges were repeated acts of physical abuse of a child causing bodily harm, chronic neglect of a child (both of which are felonies), and misdemeanor charges of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The other two facing charges in the case, Bianca Bush, and Rena Santiago, won’t be in court until December and January respectively.
