The Milwaukee Womens basketball team needed overtime to defeat Parkside last night 84-77 at the Klotsche Center.
Jamie Reit scored a career high 31 points in the Panthers season opening win. Manitowoc Lincoln graduate & Newtonburg resident, Alyssa Fischer, started at guard for Milwaukee and finished with 4 rebounds, 2 points, an assist and a steal in the victory.
The Panthers trailed 43-34 at halftime.
