
State-wide tourism organizations and business are spending the next two days In Manitowoc for the Wisconsin Fall Tourism Conference.
Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau President Jason Ring says the two-day conference themed “Connect on the Coast” kicks off today with a “Rock Your Brand” keynote address by Melanie Spring of the Wisconsin Association of Convention and Visitor Bureau along with a re-branding launch for the WAVCB.
Topics to be addressed include digital marketing—tourism research and experimental tourism. Wisconsin Department of Tourism Secretary Sara Meaney will address attendees Friday on how the state agency is marketing Wisconsin Tourism. Meaney will also join the WACVB in presenting the annual Wisconsin Tourism Trailblazers Awards given to tourism organizations that have executed outstanding marketing and partnership Projects in the past year.
The Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau is one of many tourism related partners bringing the conference to the Manitowoc Holiday Inn which is being hosted by the Wisconsin Association of Convention and Visitors Bureau.
