A former member of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce Board will be spending time behind bars after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a child.
According to court reports, 62-year-old Steven Steinpreis assaulted a juvenile family member over the course of five years.
Not only was Steinpreis a member of the Chamber Board, but he also owned the Bowling Pro Shop at Anchor Lanes in Elkhart Lake since 1981, and ran the Sheboygan County Bowling Association for about 25 years.
Steinpreis was sentenced to spend the next 25 years in prison, with 10 years of extended supervision.
