A 20-year-old Two Rivers man was sent to prison after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old child.
A criminal complaint states that Tyler J. James engaged in sexual activity with the child on two occasions late last year.
He was convicted on a second degree sexual assault of a child charge, while a felony charge of first-degree sexual assault of a child and two counts of felony bail jumping were dismissed, but read in the final sentencing.
James will spend the next 5 years in prison, which will be followed by extended supervision.
