With Minneapolis Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns suspended, the Milwaukee Bucks ran wild in a 134-106 win Monday night. Milwaukee improved its record to 5-and-2. The big three of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe combined for 82 points. The next stop on the four-game road trip for Milwaukee comes Wednesday in Los Angeles against the powerful Clippers, the preseason choice to win the N-B-A title.
In other Bucks news, Antetokounmpo has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. While the Bucks were winning three of four games, the man known as the “Greek Freak” averaged 25 points, 13 rebounds, six-and-a-half assists, two blocks and one steal-a-game. Antetokounmpo is the first N-B-A player in history to produce 150 points, 80 rebounds and 40 assists in the first six games of a season. He earned the honor six times last year.
