Veteran running back Le’Veon Bell has told a blogger he almost became a Green Bay Packer. The Jets were shopping the multi-talented player at the trading deadline, but found no takers. Bell says New York was asking for too much in return and several teams – including the Packers – didn’t want to take on his contract. Green Bay’s offense has started to thrive over the last month, powered in part by running backs Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams.
