A Green Bay man is facing charges after he allegedly set his girlfriend on fire.
The criminal complaint states that the victim was dating 29-year-old Joshua Reimer, who beat her for not giving him the attention he felt he was entitled back in July. Reimer allegedly locked the door to their home, struck her in the face, and kicked her. Reportedly, Reimer then poured rubbing alcohol on the victim’s chest and lit it on fire, causing 1st degree burns over a section of her upper body.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, and Reimer told police that she got too close to a campfire. Reimer was arrested because the victim only recently told someone what really happened.
Reimer is being held in the Brown County Jail on Charges of False Imprisonment, Battery, Disorderly Conduct, 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Injury by Negligent Use of a Weapon/Explosive.
