A Grafton man, already behind bars for holding a woman captive in her home, is now facing an additional charge for plotting her death from prison.
56-year-old Dean Hoffman was in jail, awaiting trial for the incident in September of last year when he approached another inmate who was set to be released. He asked the inmate to take out the woman. Hoffman’s plan was discovered when the second inmate wore a wire, which captured Hoffman attempting to plan the murder.
Hoffman is now facing additional charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree intentional homicide and solicitation of first-degree intentional homicide.
