In local bowling at Meadow Lanes West last night, Kerry Franz rolld a 711 Men’s National Honor COUnt series to lead the way in the Pro Links League. Kerry had games of 259, 208, and 244. John Menges also rolled and Honor Count Series, totaling 701 on scores of 259, 218, and 224.
Steve Skarda also tells us there was a Women’s Honor Series bowled by Kaitlyn Lewis. Lewis rolled a 626 series on scores of 235, 211, and 180.
A rare Men’s National Honor Count series was achieved last night at Bruce’s Bar & Bowl in Valders as well. Bill Braun rolled a 718 series in the Valders Thursday Night Men’s League on games of 226, 256 and 236. “How rare was Bill Braun’s series?” It was the first 700 at Bruce’s Bar & Bowl since October 21st, 2010 when the same bowler recorded an honor series.
