UW Women’s Hockey Renews Rivalry With Gophers This Weekend

The best part of the Border Battle between the universities of Minnesota and Wisconsin may come when the women’s hockey teams play.  It’s a big thing in football, but the hockey version pits two contenders for the national title nearly every season.  The Badgers and Gophers have 24 players from the two states on their rosters, combined.  Both teams are also just as powerful as ever this season, winning 19-out-of-20 starts.  Wisconsin plays at Minnesota in a W-C-H-A series starting Saturday.
