Significant snowfall is delaying Halloween in some southeast Wisconsin communities. Kenosha, Somers, and Bristol are just a few places pushing trick-or-treating back until Friday night because of snow and cold. Families everywhere in Wisconsin are encouraged to check their local trick-or-treat hours. Middleton and Palmyra received more than seven inches of snow, the West Bend and Oregon area have six-plus inches, Racine and Franklin are reporting five, Fond du Lac got about four inches, and the Dane County Airport has about two-and-a-half inches. About three inches fell to the northeast in Brown, Winnebago, Manitowoc and Outagamie counties. Madison is pulling plows off the streets until Friday due to concerns about kids trick-or-treating. There were a number of crashes and spin-outs this morning.
